Privacy Policy
Last updated April 29, 2026
LPD Accounting & Management Solutions, LLC ("LPD," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit lpdaccounting.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept this in plain language because that's how we'd want a policy written for us.
Who this applies to
This policy covers anyone who visits our website, fills out a form, books a consultation through our scheduling tools, or otherwise contacts us through the channels listed on our site. Existing clients also receive a separate client-engagement letter that governs the data we collect to perform accounting, tax, payroll, and advisory work — that letter takes precedence over this policy where the two overlap.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business.
- Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, business name, and any details you include when you book a consultation, send us an email, message us through WhatsApp, or call our office.
- Scheduling information. When you book a free consultation, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects the information you submit on its booking form. That data is processed under Calendly's own privacy policy and shared with us so we can confirm the appointment.
- Automatically collected information. Like most websites, ours may receive standard server logs from our hosting provider — IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps — used to keep the site secure and operational. We do not use these logs for advertising.
- Cookies. The site itself does not set marketing or advertising cookies. Embedded third-party tools (e.g., the Calendly booking widget) may set their own cookies when you interact with them; you can control these through your browser.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and schedule consultations.
- To deliver the accounting, tax, payroll, and advisory services our clients engage us for.
- To send service-related communication — appointment confirmations, document requests, deadline reminders, and similar operational messages.
- To keep our site secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a Florida-licensed accounting firm.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the firm, and only with what they need to do their job. These currently include:
- Our scheduling provider (Calendly) for consultation booking.
- Our email and telephony providers for communication.
- Our hosting and content-delivery providers for serving the website.
- Professional advisors (e.g., legal counsel) when required.
- Government authorities when we are legally required to disclose information — for example, in response to a valid subpoena or as part of a tax filing on a client's behalf with their authorization.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep information
We keep client records for the period required by professional and tax recordkeeping rules — typically seven (7) years from the end of the applicable tax year, longer where the law requires. Inquiries from prospective clients that don't result in an engagement are retained only as long as needed to follow up, and are deleted on request.
Your choices
- Access, correction, deletion. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations). Email lina@lpdaccounting.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
- Email opt-out. Operational emails (appointment confirmations, document requests) cannot be opted out of while you're an active client. We do not send marketing emails by default.
- Browser controls. You can disable cookies and use private-browsing modes through your browser settings.
- Do Not Track. Our site does not respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not track you across sites in the first place.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adult clients. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
Out-of-state and out-of-country visitors
We are based in Florida and serve clients primarily in the Treasure Coast and South Florida. If you visit our site from outside the United States, you acknowledge that the information you submit will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your home country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for a reasonable period before they take effect.
